We are thrilled to announce Carnation City Players' 2024 Scholarship Award recipient: Sylvia Johnson! Sylvia, who dazzled us as Cady Heron in Mean Girls Jr., is the recipient of this year's $1000 award for her exceptional creativity and dedication to theater.
 

A recent graduate of Alliance High School, Sylvia ranked in the top 10% of her class and has performed in numerous CCP productions, including Shrek, All Shook Up, Xanadu, Aladdin, Frozen, Bright Star, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Newsies.
 

Beyond the stage, Sylvia has been active in the Jetsetters Show Choir, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the “Like a Girl” mentoring program, and the National Honor Society. This fall, she will be pursuing her BFA at Kent State University.
